Lack Of Motive Delays Murder-Suicide Conclusion

Although Nashville police have yet to give serious credence to the possibility that former Titans and Ravens quarterback Steve McNair was killed by someone other than 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi, authorities have not yet ruled the act a murder-suicide.

According to the Associated Press, Tennessee medical examiner Bruce Levy cites lack of evidence of a motive as the reason for the delay.

But shouldn’t that reality prompt authorities to turn every possible stone in an effort to determine whether McNair and Kazemi were killed by professionals, who made it look like a murder-suicide?

Sorry, but this whole thing stinks to us. It doesn’t change the fact that McNair is gone, but without a sense that justice has been done it will be impossible for his family, teammates, and friends to find true closure.
