"The T.O. Show" Is Coming Soon

NFL_owens_250.jpgOf all the NFL’s characters, the best one on whom to base a reality show is former 49ers and Eagles and Cowboys and current Bills receiver Terrell Owens.

And so The T.O. Show debuts July 20 on VH1.

The extended trailer, pasted below, is actually sort of compelling.

Though we suspect that Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco envies the attention that T.O. will be receiving, Chad will have his own chance to mug for the cameras once training camp opens.  That’s when NFL Films will be shooting footage for HBO’s Hard Knocks.

We’ve got a feeling that the more accurate title will be The Ochocinco Show.

    T.O. Show, really?
    Sign of the apocolypse
    Please just go away

Just what the world has been waiting for…(rolls eyes)
I wish society would stop calling them reality shows. They are scripted stupidity that are cheaper to make than real television shows. I do watch some of them, but I have no belief that they are real.
People who think they are real are the same people who go to a strip club and say, “I think the girl really likes me!”

This is sad, when my first thought was ‘Finally something on TV not about Michael Jackson.”
I can’t decide who I’m more tired of hearing about.

What a tool. He’s still bitching about being cut by Dallas. Nice way to open a video

    My own trash pitch:
They should have called the show “I love Me Some Me” and made it one of those “reality” dating shows…except instead of seeking a romantic partner, Me-O would be looking for a compatible QB, finally.
He and all the contestants (among them–Garcia, McNabb, Edwards, Romo, maybe Grossman, Leftwich, Simms, Tav Jackson, etc). would live in one big mansion….each week, there’d be “challenges” and exciting drama, and each week, Me-O would eliminate someone else.
To the QBs he was keeping, each elimination ceremony he’d give them a golden bag of microwave popcorn or some sh1t like that….
Then, at the very end, when it was just two QBs left to choose from (Romo and ?), there could be a surprise twist:
    T.O. picks HIMSELF!!!
    I’d watch that…
(right before I jammed two rusty corkscrews into my eyesockets).

    The T.O. show
    Who Cares!
How about the Just Go Away T.O. Show!

T.O. I can not wait to see you play in buffalo. You are one of the best WR in the NFL.
At Least T.O. gets the job done every Sunday unlike other WR that just talk about it.

You people are HATERS! Terrell has alot of fans!
I cannot wait to watch his show! As far as his comments about Dallas…lets just see how far Tony Romo aka “fumblina” and Dallas go with lazy Roy Williams as his #1 WR!
As far as T.O. in Buffalo…he might just do great this year…they signed him to a 1 year deal…he has alot to prove! I look for big things from TO this year!
I do think the Giants were dumb not to sign T.O. to a one year deal…after all T.O. is a Giant Killer!

Why is everyon hatin’ on T.O.? All that stuff from last year, that’s in the past- he was only 35 at the time. Now at age 36 he’s changed.

I can’t wait, that is at the very least compelling. I will be watching for sure

Maybe we could arrange for a meeting in a hotel, say in Memphis with some 20 something crazy slut that just bought a gun.

Once again, it’s been proven: Act like a total a-hole and the world is your oyster.

Anyone catch that Joba Chamberlain-like jail jumpsuit he had on while on the couch.
    He had a plan…
    …I guess

I wonder if his two publicists have any interest in a head coaching position soon to open up in Buffalo.

“Of all the NFL’s characters, the best one on whom to base a reality show is former 49ers and Eagles and Cowboys and current Bills receiver Terrell Owens.”
    WRONG!
There are lots of and lots of better positive role models that are way more deserving. His antics aren’t very entertaining either…unless you like girl drama.

  17. Phenom says: Jul 7, 2009 7:02 PM

It actually doesn’t look too bad but I don’t usually watch “reality” shows and I probably won’t be watching this either.

  18. Raiders757 says: Jul 7, 2009 7:13 PM

    I’m with you, jersey73.
Shows like this just further the dumbing down of America, and it doesn’t shock me that there are people stupid enough to actually want to see this, or anything like it. What a bunch of tools.
“Reality” shows need to go away, and go away forever. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if the morons who watch that trash go away with it as well.

    Looks good! Seriously.
