When Slade Norris does a pushup, he isn’t lifting himself up, he’s pushing the Earth down.

McNabb's father is looking forward to what, exactly?--the third straight loss to the Bears?

No need for the Bears to have a second FB (Jason Davis), since Michael Gaines can fill that role as a H-back if needed.
(However, the loss of Jason Davis probably wouldn't sit too well with Forte--as they're best pals off the field).

Zorn and the other powers that be in the Skins' organization need to read up on the effects of driving while tired. The affects tiredness has on one's driving skills are as bad, and some argue that they're worse, as the affects from alcohol. After a long physically and mentally draining day these guys are going to get behind the wheel of a car and drive home. Hope none of them decide to stop and have a drink or two on the way home.

The Vikings altering the playbook for Favre might finally change the "1st down 3-yard run, 2nd down incomplete pass, 3rd down 1-yard run, 4th down punt" scheme we've seen for the past few years.

Hmm, I guess if you live in Texas, and cover a Texas team for a Texas newspaper, then I guess it is. Otherwise, it's the most irrelevant crap a football fan will pass over today.
