Buffalo Bills cornerback Cary Harris’ four-year rookie contract is worth $1.856 million and includes a signing bonus of nearly $106,850, according to a league source.
The deal includes a fourth-year escalator clause based on playing time that could boost the total value of the deal to $2.631 million.
It carries minimum base salaries of $310,000 for 2009, $395,000 for 2010, $480,000 for 2011 and $565,000 for 2012. Plus, the contract includes annual workout clauses.
The three-year USC starter registered 143 career tackles, 7 1/2 tackles for losses and five interceptions in 34 starts.
A two-time honorable-mention All-Pac 10 Conference selection, Harris intercepted three passes last season for the Trojans.
