It seemed to us that FOX's Joe Buck was more excited this afternoon than he should be about the availability of free tacos in St. Louis.
Maybe we now know why.
If Buck has been perusing his favorite web site today, he knows that karma has paid a visit to comedian Artie Lange.
Per TMZ.com, Lange has been busted for suspicion of DUI in New Jersey. He was busted after getting into a minor car accident.
Lange made headlines last month after hijacking the debut episode of Buck's HBO show with a string of crude remarks and insults directed at Buck, who basically adopted the demeanor of T.O. while taking a tongue lashing from that Polish she-devil on The Superstars.

I agree with you mvp, artie is one of the most underrated comedians ever. I think he will finally get his true recognition when his untimely end comes. I say that because my suspicion is that he is a possible DUI because of drugs(heroin) and not alcohol. Thankfully he didnt kill anybody.
Just read that it wasn't the alcohol that caused the accident. Rather, it was Artie's lack of visibility due to having his head shoved up Howard's ass.
crude does not necessarily translate to comedic, and a little tact usually helps

I also think that, for a guy who thought Randy Moss perpetrated a "disgusting act" on the fat people of Green Bay when Randy *pretended* to moon them (a joke based on the fact that they - the fans - do that to the opposing team bus, but that's besides the point), I have no clue what he thought he was going to get get when he brought on Howard Stern's main writer.

Lange would rather be a second rate Stern flunkie than a comedian that can stand on his own two feet. Anybody that thought he was funny on Buck's show must be real big on fart jokes and rubber chickens as well. He's a 400 pound alcoholic heroin addict and he's not funny. That somebody could be hooked on heroin AND weigh 400 pounds is the real joke. The callers are right, Artie's a lifelong loser that should deep throat a shotgun before he hurts somebody besides himself.
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son. Unless you want to be on the Howard Stern Show.

You wouldn't even comment on me if I didn't give the eagirls and their fans so much shit, so what's your point? I comment on almost everything on PFT, you know that. I actually probably would not have commented if there were not people in this thread acting like Artie's some sort of comedic genius or that he severely owned Buck. He's not and he didn't. It really is as simple as that. "Romo rhymes with homo" doesn't register as comedy and it's a pretty pathetic attempt, given some of the criticism that Romo gets. I was actually left waiting for him to say something else. Romo rhymes with homo? Seriously? That's it? I'm better than that, but Artie obviously isn't.
