The Browns concluded a busy day Tuesday, getting cornerback Don Carey to agree to a four-year contract, according to ESPN.com.
The sixth-round pick from Norfolk State is the second Browns pick to sign on the day. He will provide depth at a position that is full of question marks.
Cleveland's rookies are asked to show up on July 24, a full week before the team's veterans. (Fun team to get drafted by.)
The early reporting date could conceivably expedite negotiations with their draft picks, including first-round selection Alex Mack.
