A former employee of the Buffalo Bills was arraigned this week on charges that she stole over $70,000 from the organization.
WGRZ in Buffalo reports that Bonnie Krauss, 49, worked for the Bills before moving to California. She allegedly arrived there with more of Ralph Wilson's money than she legally earned.
The Bills' team attorney confirmed the news and said the case is now in the hands of the district attorney. The Bills conducted their own investigation and turned the facts over to authorities.
The news station says that Krauss was charged with grand larceny in the second degree, a felony. She pleaded not guilty at her arraignment, and she's free after posting a $20,000 bail.
Krause's long-term relationship with the team makes her alleged crime even more galling.
She worked for the organization for ten years, including as the Assistant to the Vice President of Marketing and Broadcasting in 2006.
