"Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com believes the Bengals will be at least a wild card team this season. "

Did they move to the UFL? Did a plane crash with the Steelers, Ravens, Patriots, Jets, Dolphins, Chargers, Colts, Titans and Texans aboard? WTF is wrong with these morons thinking Cincinnati has any chance of finishing anywhere above 3rd place in their own division, none the less a wild card spot. It's a loser franchise run by cheapskate losers full of players who could give a @#$% about winning anything.

Lot of good that has done them. When was the last time they hosted, or even won a playoff game?

Except, you know, Romo is still starting

Some line from Jason Whitlock on Randy Moss "You could argue he’s better than Jim Brown, John Elway, Reggie White, Lawrence Taylor, Jerry Rice and Joe Montana." and "After just one season of playing alongside Moss in New England, Cassel went from unheralded scrub to a man with a six-year contract worth $60 million.."

This is why Whitlock is popular- he says things that get people thinking or riled up. The thought that Moss is better than White, Elway, Montana, etc. is utterly laughable.

Also, Cassel won beacuse of the Pats team as a whole, good offensive line, hall of fame coach, adaquate running game, Wes Welker and yes of course Mr. Moss.

As someone with no real horse in the AFC North race (that is, neither fan nor detractor of any of its team, as "objective" as I can be), I ALSO think the Bengals are poised for a WC berth...

Hell, they might even be fighting for the division this year.

I think they had a helluvan off-season, and you can't underestimate the effect of a healthy Carson Palmer.

Plus, when was the last time the Ravens put together two back-to-back dominant seasons?
The past 5 years (starting with last year and going to 2004):
    11-5
    5-11
    13-3
    6-10
    9-7

So the trend says to expect a drop-off. Add in the potential for a Flacco drop-off, the aging defense, the probable retirement of Mason, etc.

The Steelers are a great franchise, so they'll be in the mix, but it's tough to repeat, to duplicate the intensity required to stay on top.

The Browns are, well, you know...

Cassell should thank Moss?, Yeah in a way, but he should thank Belichick more who is the main reason the pats have had success whether following the rules or not and with or with out Brady.

We'll see who the morons are in a few months. Stay close and listen for your name.

I hope the Bengals opponents are as cocky/stupid as you. That will make winning the AFC North that much easier.
