Bills will manage Lynch's workload

NFL_lynch2_250.jpgMarshawn Lynch will take a league mandated three game breather to start the season for violating the league’s conduct policy.

Despite the extra rest, the Bills don’t plan on working Lynch too hard when he returns.

In an effort to keep Lynch fresher for the stretch run, Dick Jauron plans to use Fred Jackson and Dominic Rhodes liberally off the bench throughout the season.

While the news won’t make Lynch’s fantasy football owners happy, it makes sense considering how capable Jackson is.  Lynch runs with a rugged style that can take a heavy pounding.

With a little extra rest, Lynch figures to be more productive per touch.  Plus he’ll have more energy when he breaks into Beast Mode

    BEAST MODE!!!
Although it does kinda suck, considering that I traded for Lynch on my fantasy team a few months ago.

Stretch Run? The Bills are the doormat to that division. And with Marshawn averaging a whopping 70ypg i don’t see that franchise going any where

    @ Grkboiler –
. . . and that 7 points will be off a 4th quarter kickoff return (Patriots’ D will surprise people this year).
T.O. = 2 catches for 12 yards total and zero first downs.
That said, BUF probably at least splits with MIA and the Jets and wins 8 or 9 total. So, y’know, not really doormats.

The Pendulum swings, all you Patriot fools. Buffalo was the undisputed king of this division not more than 10 years ago, in those days the Patriots (and Colts) were the perennial door mats, just wait till Brady and Belicheck retire as Kelly and Levy did for us.
