The pomp and circumstance that is the supplemental draft is all done for the year.
According to Adam Schefter, reporting live from the draft floor, Jeremy Jarmon was the only player selected. (Actually Schefter was more likely standing on his kitchen floor, but that doesn’t sound as exciting.)
Schefter also passes along the nugget that the Detroit Lions were set to select Jarmon at the top of the fourth round before the Redskins nabbed him.
What does Lambo Weezy think?
Maybe you should tell us something about this guy? What position is he? Where did he go to school?
Why do the lions always find a way to lose. Could have got a pretty good player for a third.
DE and a good prospect. Clint lets get in the game fella

If you are just busting on Florio for poor journalism, check his previous posts concerning Jarmon.
If you really don’t know anything about this kid, you should be on this site more often!
Typical Redskins!
The supplemental draft is about value for teams, not overpaying. Jarmon would have been no higher than a second rounder in 2009, there is no value for the Skins as a third rounder in the supplemental draft.
Also, in case you couldn’t tell, I am bitter about Jarmon not wearing Honolulu Blue.

Wrong! If Jarmon does not get suspended, goes back for his senior season (even though he already graduated and could have declared this year), does not get hurt and goes through the combine/workout process before the 2010 draft, he’s a mid first to mid second round pic at worst. Maybe he blows up at the combine and goes higher. For Washington to take a flyer and get a guy who would not be there in the third round of the 2010 draft and sign him cheap is a value pick to me.
“he’s a mid first to mid second round pic at worst. ”
… and Aaron Rodgers could be the 1st player taken or a top 5 pick at worst.
Every fanboy has to qualify his statement with a bunch of ‘ifs’ and will never admit when their team over-reaches. When Jarmon struggles on a weak team and becomes this year’s Mike Williams after not playing for a year, the rest of us will have a bone over the value and talent still available in the 3rd round of next year’s draft.
When Snyder is involved in a deal, the rest of the league can rest happy in knowing that they did the opposite of whatever Dan did.
db3300: Thanks for backing my point.
“If” my aunt had a dong, she’d be my uncle.
Jarmon was projected by most scouts to be “AT BEST” a late first day selection should he have declared for 2009. Why do you think he chose to stay at KY after receiving a degree?
The Skins overpaid, plain and simple. That is Danny Synder’s MO.
