The Patriots continued their torrid pace of rookie signings to close out the work week, agreeing to terms with fifth-round pick George Bussey, according to Christopher Gasper of the Boston Globe.
The offensive lineman from Louisville agreed to a four-year contract. Bussey played both tackle and guard in college. He’s expected to play guard in New England.
The Patriots drafted three offensive lineman this year, perhaps in anticipation of losing some players at the position next offseason.
Nine Patriots offensive lineman under contract are currently entering a contract year.
New England now has nine of their twelve draft picks under contract.
Oh My God!! What a great team! They only have 3 draft pics left to sign. Here is a news flash so do most other theams or way less even.
Yoyo… I think you need to read that last sentence of the article over again. NINE of their TWELVE draft picks. How many picks did your favorite team make? See, if you do the math and “bring something to the table” you might grasp the point that is being made here. Or perhaps Yoyo is a name you were tabbed with for a reason.
