Hollis Thomas spent the first ten years of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles after making the team as an undrafted free agent in 1996.
He may get a chance to finish his career there too.
The 14-year veteran visited the Eagles recently, according to Scout.com's Adam Caplan. The team did not offer him a contract, though.
Caplan says that Thomas may need to lose some weight before getting signed. (Maybe he can call Mike Williams for advice.)
Thomas spent the last three seasons with New Orleans. Even if Thomas was signed, he wouldn't be a lock to make the Philadelphia roster, which is deep on the defensive line.

Maybe he can be 'Team Ambassador". Whatever that means...
