Rams finish seventh-round deal

The St. Louis Rams crossed their seventh-round draft pick, running back Chris Ogbonnaya, off of their list of unsigned rookies.

According to Brian McIntyre of Scout.com, the Rams have agreed to terms with Ogbonnaya on a four-year contract that includes a $66,000 signing bonus.

The deal also has a fourth-year escalator clause of $1.308 million or the low restricted free agent tender.

At the University of Texas, Ogbonnaya rushed for 597 career yards and eight touchdowns, catching 75 passes for 792 yards and three touchdowns.

Ogbonnaya was a four-time academic All-Big 12 selection who was a semifinalist for the Draddy Trophy, which is considered the academic version of the Heisman.
