This site actually breaks a story (Greg from Rotoworld and he is here because of NBC) and what do you do- what Florio does best: speculate. 80% of this site is reguritated content that was reported by someone else and Florio spins it. Again his background and lack of any journalistic abilites shows in one of the few stories that originated here.

In that scenario, she would realize that she’ll get a settlement because he was a dick and defamed her because she turned a Frankenstein-looking fool with a “everybody wants me and so do you unless you’re a dyke” attitude down. The world is full of opportunists, the key to staying out of their webs is denying them any opportunities.

Why did you put “public defamation” in quotes like somebody else said it? That’s your phrase, nobody else’s. Defamation is a lie that injures a person’s reputation and causes damages to that person. That’s it. Doesn’t have to be a lie told to the general public, could be between two people. For instance, if your ex-girlfriend were to tell your bible-thumper boss that you’re a practicing Satanist and he fires you over it.

I don’t agree with Empty13 very much, but I’m in complete agreement with him here.

If this is a Libel/Slander case, considering the fact that the details are surfacing only AFTER a claim was filed, there is no way in heck that this lady will win the case.
If there were an actual instance of “public defamation,” and Roethlisberger was involved, this would have been, you know, PUBLIC a long time ago.
