First of all, is there a medical report of her having visited an emergency room?
If there is, then big ben is in BIG trouble.
If not, then it’s duke lacrosse all over again. A lie that a woman makes up, to deal with some kind of inner self esteem issues she has.

Actually ray bought the knife used as a murder weapon and most likely did at least some of the killing. He got off though because he’s in the NFL. Of course it sounds like rape. That’s what it’s supposed to sound like. The only two people in the room were Ben and the accuser. She can anything she wants. She could say Ben pulled out a condom and blew it up like an animal balloon and to some people it would be true because she said it was. The fact that there is no criminal complaint and the civil complaint was filed a year later leads me to believe she is not credible. Most people can’t name two meals they ate last week but she remembers every detail. She’s about to get raped and she’s worried about birth control. Sure.
If this woman was brutally raped and battered, she would have filed a criminal complaint and THEN a civil complaint and it would not have taken a year.
Keep in mind. What if she is lying? What if the rape never occured and the sex was consensual?
What if she was mad because he never called like he said he would? What does that make her?
These athletes are going to have to start videotaping their sexual dalliances so they can say “hey, that’s not what happend. I have the tape right here.” Case closed.

I work in the sexual assault prevention field. I wasn’t in the room, so I don’t know what happened between Roethlisberger and McNalty.

so how is she so sure that the other woman was in Ben’s room for 20 minutes? was she monitoring somehow? is one to believe that the hotel staff routinely pays such close attention to the comings(no pun intended) and goings of their guests? why was she so conveniently lurking outside his door? does anyone know how long the hotel security monitoring video is saved at that hotel? i hope all the crabs from the Cleveland Clowns infest her nether regions.

A big resort hotel and there is no maintenance available? I work for a company that operates numerous hotels that have less then 150 rooms. We have a strict policy that does not allow employees to enter a guest room without another employee present when another employee is on duty. At the least there should have been a system in place where the entry door has to kept open with a doorstop. You never allow the door to close while alone in a room with a guest. If these policies were not in place then the hotel has left themselves wide open for these type of issues.

I don’t know what went on in that room, but I do know there is a victim in all off this whether it be Big Ben or Andrea. I just hope that the truth comes out. Rape is a violent crime and cries of rape shouls be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I feel that whoever is guilty should get the “chair”. In my opinion rape or false allegations of rape should be punishable by death, period. Unfortunately the truth will probably never be proven, as this looks like a classic case of “he said she said”. After a year there’s not going to be any physical proof. I would have a very hard time convicting anyone of a crime a year past, let alone a crime as serious as rape without as much as one shred of physical evidence. Now both of them are getting dragged through the mud when only one them deserves it, while the truth will more than likely go unknown.

According to an article on TMZ’s web page it states that Roethlisberger and McNutly did have a consensual act and they have known each other because Ben had stayed there before for several golf tournaments. It also states that sources connected with the case has said that a former co-worker of McNulty’s came forward with this story: That around the time McNulty hooked up with Ben she was allegedly invovled with a married man. The man’s wife, as told created an email account, posing as a U.S. soldier in Iraq. The wife began corresponding with McNulty to gain information. They are told that the former co-worker has said McNulty fell in love with the fictitious soldier and began telling people that she was “engaged” to him. When the wife stopped the corrspondence, McNulty then began telling people the soldier was killed in action. At the end of the article that she had told at least one co-work she began seeing a psychiatrist because of the phantom solider.

Let me first start off by saying that when it comes to the Steelers, I’m neither a fan nor foe. I admit their Super bowl wins are impressive, but don’t necessarily always agree with their off/on-field conduct.
That being said, lets get on to the issue at hand.
I’m sure any decent public defender, or even an ignorant hillbilly who likes to watch old Law & Order reruns, could shoot holes in this lady’s story, the size of elephants, with a bubble gun! While I openly agree that rape/sexual assault is a serious crime and should not be taken lightly, this story has me waiting for Ashton Kutcher to come climbing out from under Andrea McNulty’s overbite and start screaming to Ben that he’s been Punk’d.
Ms. McNulty states that she went to Ben’s room to fix his T.V. because 1) No one else was available and 2) Because management from the hotel directed her to ensure that Big Ben had a good time. I’m guessing it’s safe to assume that she is either a qualified electronics expert or used worked in a T.V. repair shop before working at Harrah’s, because there is NO reason for her to even attempt to “Fix” anything unless she was originally hired as a maintenance worker and was subbing for a hostess on the day in question. And as for the “Orders from Management”, is it just me, or is she making it sound like the Harrah’s management team is a bunch of new, unschooled Pimp’s that would encourage any staff members to perform any act to satisfy their customers?
My opinion, you want it you way?…Go to Burger King.
As for her not reporting this so called crime until a year later….well that’s so blatantly obvious I wont touch it. I’m wondering now though with all these “details” she remembers if she’s going to be able to keep them all straight, and if she doesn’t, how quick will she play the “I’m a victim, it was a year ago, I was traumatized” card as an excuse. My guess, she weaved a decent looking web, but once one string is snagged, her story will run like a cheap pair of pantyhose.
Finally, let’s address her $380,000.00 dollar suit. If you have been assaulted, and so traumatized by a man who is worth millions, are you going to settle for change he can dig out of his $500,000.00 dollar recliner? Hell to the NO! Any respectable woman is going to go for millions, preferably 2-10. I’m guessing she’s tired of living with her mom in that mobile home and has seen a real nice peace of reality that’s for sale for lets say……$380 thousand dollars.
In all honesty, this is sounding like a woman who is in desperate need of her 15 minutes, and wants a new home as a bonus. In regards to the so called “Fly Fishing Conversation” she and Ben shared, I believe the only fly fishing she was interested in was not lake trout, more likely the fly on Ben’s Levi’s.

I’m a woman and I smell a rat here. First of all this chick has some serious issues. That considered, this “apparently” happened last year at the golf tourney. Then right after this year’s tournament she files this? A bit of fatal attraction? Perhaps not the outcome she invisioned. Jaded and insane after a year of maybe pretending to be his girlfriend waiting for their reunion just to be shot down.
We can be a skitzy bunch and she sounds like a serious head case……..timing and facts are just odd.

Wow, so many people are willing to believe so quickly that Roethlisberger raped the woman, or at the very, very least had sex with her.
A year later and no evidence of anything at all, there’s no way this is going anywhere. The woman has to know this, and so does her lawyer.
So whether he actually raped her or not is completely besides the point. She didn’t want justice enough to report the crime when it allegedly happened – when there should have been some sort of evidence on her (even when you pull out, you’ve got to put it somewhere…plus, the skin cells, the trauma to the vagina…all things that would have helped her case).
Even if he had harmed her in the restraint and filled her up with DNA, a year later you can’t prove that.
This isn’t about justice. It’s about distraction or money. Or both.
I smell a bill belichick.

Okay, let’s back up. Rape is such a serious allegation and what she is saying just doesn’t add up. Let’s go back to,
“McNulty admits that she didn’t try to fight Roethlisberger, citing his size and strength. She claims that she “communicated her objection and lack of consent,” and that he nevertheless began “fondling [her] through her dress and between her legs.”
….Now, I don’t know if it’s just me that saw this, but no where in there did he threaten to kill her, put a gun/knife/toothpick or fingernail to her head to “force” her into conceeding to his advances. So as well as kicking, screaming, throwing something, punching, kneeing, biting, scratching or any of the other scores of things she could have done to defend herself or draw attention, she did nothing. So he forced her, unarmed, onto the bed. And then what? Now I know that as a woman, my upper body strength is lacking greatly…but my legs are strong as hell. Why didn’t she cross her legs and hold them together before he got on top of her? That could have prevented him from penetrating her whether or not she was on birth control (which I agree would have been the LAST thing on my mind). He had the time to toss her on the bed, pry her panties down and withdraw himself to the point of insertion and in all that time, she didn’t so much as poke him in the eye? She never said he held her down, so there was no forceful action on his part whatsoever besides blocking the doorway. And to go into the bathroom to “pull herself together”….PULL WHAT TOGETHER? If there’s gonna be a doorway I walk through, it’s gonna be the front damn door, not the bathroom to hang around and be chummy with my alleged rapist!
Anyone with 1/2 a brain cell can see that this is a total lie. I’m not even going to touch the fact that a year has passed and she’s not filing criminal charges. Or the fact that the hotel conspired against her and her family to remove any proof of this fairytale. OR the fact that as a hostess, you are not trained as an electrician on the side. As you can see, I can go on and on with her story and poke all sorts of Rothlisberger sized holes in it. I give this 2 weeks. This will be over before we know it.

I have worked with victims for many years.
Her account is very detailed in such a way that it is believable.
The fact that she stated “I’m not on birth control” was a way to get him to stop. It sounds like she was trying to think of ways to get him to stop on top of telling him No.
She can’t exactly fight him physically.
First of all, Rape is not about sex.
It’s about power. It is an act of violence.
Also, She might have tried to file a criminal complaint. We don’t know that. Maybe the officers did not think there was enough proof.
Someone could have made the criminal complaint go away since he is so famous and powerful.
Someone mentioned her sticking around the room after to collect herself being suspcious?
If she was raped, she was traumatized.
If you are traumatized you are in a daze a state of shock. That can last for months, years. Depending on the person.
There are people who wait years before they can get the courage to bring charges or a civil suit because they are too traumatized.
I’m just saying Rape is an act of violence.
Nobody here knows if he is above it.
I don’t think anyone should be judged at this point.

I don’t think the video(s) are “key” as someone suggested…just puts her in the room. Where’s the beef here other than between her legs…oops i mean evidence/proof pertaining to allegations; such as seminal fluid, tears in that region that would suggest forced entry, bruises, screams, etc. How about even a police report!!! Come on here, any woman or man for that with any common sense or intelligence would report a rape or other sexual crime immediately afterwards. There is no merit to these alligations and this is all about trying to see how much she can squeeze out of Ben. Too sad.

She is a casino hostess. What was she doing in his room in the first place? Is that allowed? I thought fixing TVs etc in a guest’s room is the responsibility of housekeeping and a tech.
Whilst I do not want to assume she is lying, I am quite skeptical as to why she has waited a year and only filed a civil suit and a claim of $390K. She should have filed a criminal complaint and we would take her seriously.

As an employee of a casino and a resident of the nation’s leading gambling state, she’s probably playing the odds.
A criminal case requires a guilty vote from every juror. Hard to get even if she had called the cops immediately after the alleged attack. Without any signs of force, he can say it never happened. Do jurors want to lock up an athlete based on dubious claims? No.
But winning a civil suit requires only a majority of jurors. Much better odds for winning. Especially since she wants money — which the filing of the suit confirms.
Are jurors willing to agree with plaintiffs in lawsuits when the worst outcome is taking money from rich athletes? Yes.
However, McNutty’s claim is most likely false, and that carries its own risks. Like a counter-suit for defamation.
False claims that anyone — famous or not — has committed a heinous crime, such as rape, are grounds for a winning case against the person making the false claim.
Unless she’s got his sperm in a test-tube, she’s looking for legal trouble.
