The four-year rookie contract announced earlier today for fourth-round Cincinnati Bengals center Jonathan Luigs is worth a total of $2.256 million, according to Adam Caplan of Scout.com.
Per the report, that includes a $509,500 signing bonus.
Luigs was honored as the top center in college football once during his four-year career at Arkansas.
Meanwhile, Caplan reports that the Detroit Lions’ contract for seventh-round linebacker Zack Follett, which was announced last night, is a three-year, $1.221 million deal.
According to the report, Follett also received a $35,600 signing bonus.
A two-year starter, Follett registered 242 career tackles, 51 tackles for losses and 23 1/2 sacks at Cal-Berkeley.
As a senior last season, Follett posted 10 1/2 sacks and 87 tackles.
