Atlanta Falcons second-round safety William Moore has reached a deal on a four-year contract that includes just over $1.6 million in guaranteed money, according to a league source.
Moore’s contract represents a 6.5 percent increase over last year’s pick at his slot.
The total value of the deal is $3.35 million, including a $1.1 million signing bonus. That’s the same bonus that last year’s pick at that slot.
The 6’0, 220-pounder from Missouri intercepted 11 career passes and registered 284 career tackles. The former second-team All-American selection also deflected 22 passes.

This is the guy you should have picked in the second round Chicago instead of trading down for a couple of project D lineman. Ridiculous…
This is guy Oakland or Dallas should have selected as well…
I was hoping for him or Delmas (who Detroit got) with our 2nd. I think they’ll both be really good contributors right out of the gate. It was a steal to get Moore where we did.
William Moore will be starting next to Erik Coleman at safety, but Thomas DeCoud will be in the mix. They have the speed that veteran Lawyer Milloy was lacking. It’s the cornerback spots that are a bit iffy.
Willy-Mo is a great man indeed! Go Falcons!
Good call Spyder!
