As camps get closer and closer, more and more draft picks are agreeing to terms.
The latest? Redskins third-rounder Kevin Barnes.
The former Maryland cornerback was the 80th overall selection in the 2009 draft. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
To create a roster spot for Barnes, the Redskins cut defensive end Derek Walker, an undrafted free agent whom the ‘Skins signed on April 30.

vick was at a strip club last night with allen iverson, what a jackass, does he not care about image? wait, don’t answer that.
They reached bad for this guy.
Does anyone else see an accidental collision between Barnes and Fletcher resulting in the latter spilling his guts out onto the field?
Look out for him! He’s a baller…
Barnes was projected in most places as a 3rd rounder, and that’s where he was drafted. It was a good pick with Shawn Springs leaving. Plus, he’s a local guy. Glad to have him aboard.
Barnes needs to bulk up……or he’ll end up being just as fragile as Smoot is….
Smoot isn’t fragile; he just can’t cover. I will say that Smoot is best at doing exactly what Barnes did in his most famous play, although not as hard.
I think this pick will work out for us
