49ers sign quarterback Nate Davis

San Francisco 49ers fifth-round quarterback Nate Davis signed a four-year contract that includes a $150,300 signing bonus, according to Matt Maicco of the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat.

With minimum base salaries, the total value of the rookie deal is $1.9 million.

Davis was twice named the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year at Ball State.

Per the report, Davis didn’t get many snaps during offseason practice sessions.

With Davis officially on the roster, the 49ers cut safety Lewis Baker.

The 49ers still have two remaining unsigned draft picks: first-round wide receiver Michael Crabtree and third-round running back Glen Coffee.
