Fourth-round tight end Shawn Nelson has agreed in principle to a four-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, per his agent.
Nelson caught 157 career passes for 2,054 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Joel Segal said that Nelson, a former Southern Mississippi star, is currently traveling to the Bills’ training camp at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y.
With Nelson agreeing to terms, the Bills still have to wrap up unsigned first-round draft picks Aaron Maybin (Penn State) and Eric Wood (Louisville), and two second-round picks.

Maybin blows. Just get Wood and Levitre in camp, screw the rest of the guys.
Nelson was a big play maker for USM’s offense over the past few years and he didn’t exactly have the best QBs. He could turn into a big receiving threat one day.
I agree it’s probably most important to get Wood and Levitre in, but Nelson is a good signing and hopefully points towards some more coming soon.
