Looming over the 2009 season will be a trio of Super Bowl-winning coaches who have made somewhat clear their desire to return to the game in 2010: Mike Holmgren, Bill Cowher, and Mike Shanahan. (Brian Billick, who has a right place/right time championship on his mantle also would like to get back in the pro game.)
Shanahan is the latest to put the rest of the league on notice that he’s lurking, which only makes the hot seats hotter this year.
PFTV looks at Shanahan’s situation, and at a couple of Shanahan’s specific potential destinations.

you forgot about John “#%@%!%!#$%” Gruden
San Diego. Norv will underachieve again, Mike would get the opportunity to punish Al and Denver 2x a year.
put the pftv garbage back on YouTube, or don’t I don’t really care.
forgot gruden, but i think he’s waiting for the notre dame job anyway.
I used to think Shanny to Dallas but now I think Minn. No way “Ed Flanders” makes it through another whole season, Betty Farve or no Betty Farve.
do you mean NED Flanders???
What about Chicago? Shanahan’s home state, Jay Cutler at QB and a HC who has hardly excelled of late.
If the Bears fail to reach the playoffs next year, I could definitely see some deal being done with Shanny.
Shanahan to the Bears in 2010. I’ll bet your paycheck Florio!
Shanahan to Washington, Cower to Dallas, Holgram in, wait for it, in PURPLE!!
Don’t think Gruden won’t be in the hunt next year either. A couple F Bombs on MNF and he’s right back in the thick of it.
switch shanarat and cowher and i agree greg.
holmgren minnehaha i can see that. the media hates chilly so he cant be quite that bad, but he aint good.
gruden to buffalo. dirty talk always works better in the cold.
billick to san dee.
lovie and marvin (cin) wont get fired.
Washington needs a hard nosed coach like Bill Cowher or John Gruden!!!!!!!!
