The news doesn’t come as a surprise, but it’s a good sign for the
Broncos that Marshall’s previous trade request will not cause a
distraction before the season.
Denver is not expected to deal Marshall, although they would reportedly listen to offers.
The chances of a move seem slim, but Marshall’s best hope to inspire another team to gamble on him would be to prove he’s fully healthy again. Marshall is recovering from offseason hip surgery.
Marshall’s news-filled offseason isn’t quite complete, though. He’s scheduled to be on trial in Atlanta on August 13 for a domestic battery case from 2008.
