We’ve updated the Anti-Vick List, which we first created in February when the Falcons announced they’d try to trade him.
As of right now, 18 teams have indicated that they don’t want Vick, either before he was reinstated, after he was reinstated, or both.
Other teams (such as the Panthers) are not believed to be interested, but they haven’t said so.
Meanwhile, there are indications that one of the teams that was believed to be interested in Vick isn’t. The Rams indicated earlier this year that they didn’t see Vick in their future. More recently, however, rumors emerged that the Rams might make a run at him, given the connection between Vick and Rams G.M. Billy Devaney, who served as assistant G.M. in Atlanta during Vick’s tenure.
In hindsight, it apparently was a trial balloon — and it apparently popped on the horns of the Rams’ helmet.
A reader tells us that Devaney said during a Tuesday appearance on KSLG radio that the Rams aren’t interested in Vick. But the podcast of the appearance won’t pull up on the official PFT Commodore 64.
As we keep trying, feel free to send us the names of any more teams who make it known that they don’t want to get to know Vick.
We’ve said many times that, as to any player, 31 teams can say no — it only takes one to say yes.
Still, Vick’s one-in-31 proposition now stands at one out of 14.
And shrinking.
okay im alredy tired of vick. unlike favre vick isnt worth this meida uproar. he is an extreamly over rated half ate qb. teams are not only discouraged from vick because of off field conduct but also because he is not worth what money is prolly asking.
Vikings are not on that list……………………
And that “list” is worth about as much as Favre’s latest statement.
Are the Raiders on the list?
If they are, you should take them off the list.
Vick will be a Raider. There’s never been a surer bet.
Okay if the Panthers even think about this I will hold up some very ugly signs at the games. I do not like this man and what he did to poor puppies that can’t even speak. I hope noone wants his pathetic ass.
Is there a running list of the anti-Vick teams? If not would Florio post it?
Florio, I figured it out. In order to hear the podcast, type LOAD “*” ,8,1 and it should load up for you.
The Patriots should say they are interested so the Vikings will sign him.
I love the smell of vindication in the morning. (Wells it morning somewhere)
Favre Ain’t coming back! you were…

My top three are Cleveland Carolina and StLouis, Although Jacksonville and Al Davis wouldn’t shock me.
Mike Vick, welcome to the UFL.
If he turns in a killer year there (ooh, bad choice of terms) then he might get a sniff of the NFL next year.
My guess? There’s not enough Vick magic left in the tank to overcome the bad karma of his epic screw-ups.
So you are trying to tell me that NFL teams are falling over themselves to snag a Quarterback who can’t pass the ball? I find that hard to believe…
Hey “Brandonchamness ”
While I respect your right to your opinion on this site I think you are wrong. Vick will be proven to be an asset by anyone who’s willing to take a chance. Nobody tries harder than someone who has had to work for a second chance.
Also some advice for you :
Try a dictionary, capitals and punctuation next time , you might find people take your comments more seriously.

Then we’ll have to listen to the same shit next year about how he’s “missed 3 seasons, why is he still suspended for 6 weeks? This is injustice!”
Because I’m assuming people don’t realize the suspension doesn’t actually start until he’s signed by a team.
He was terrible as a quarterback. He had trouble with the playbook, his reads (or lack thereof) and finally resorted to flipping off the fans. He is no good in any aspect of life.
I wouldn’t be shocked if nobody takes him now. But wait until week 4 or 5. His appeal is gonna go way up for some teams that have ugly starts and early trouble at the QB position.
He could join a team for 3/4 of a season with the pressure to perform completely off, learn the system and hopefully get his groove back in time for next year.
What do you think, Mike?
What about Tony Dungy helping Vick get back in the NFL Vick might not be a starter but he may get in on a 3rd string QB at the league mim.
Gotta start somewhere.
You can do this Vick, make it happen.Turn it around.
Although Vick might be an ASSCLOWN he served his time and like all the other wife beaters, vehicular manslaughters, and drug users he should get another chance. Who are we to decide that his crimes are worse than any others, just because the idiots at PETA are up in arms who gives a flying f**K! Only time will tell if he learned his lessonand whose to say that if he does play that his knee won’t take an untimely shot from a frustrated d-lineman…
The Question isn’t where/when will Vick play. It’s can he even still play QB? http://bit.ly/Rj5qk
Hey Wishbone! Vick should NOT be a Raider, Al Davis has enough on his plate.
And to Horsewhisperer – R u serously saying Vick worked for a second chance? What has he done?
However, what he did do to those animals was horrific! He is a sorry excuse for a man. The NFL should be embarrassed and I personally am appalled by Roger and the NFL’s decision. If there is a team that has the guts to accept him, then that is when Vick will have to work hard at this so-called second chance. The boycotts are waiting!
Horsewhisperer, i do agree that vick has the ability to be a good asset, but only to a team like Miami. He has never been or never will be able to play on the same level as players such as Manning, Brady, Favre, Warnrer, and others… Vick has always been very very over rated. I appreciate a rushing qb as much as anyone but ou have to be able to throw a little, and he can not.He tries to be like McNair, VY, and others but lacks arm strength and accuracy greatly. He is just an over rated jackass.
It will be fitting for it to go 0/32. Of course the ignorant Vickaphiles will say it’s blackballing or racism, and they can’t accept the fact that he wasn’t that good to start with.
Hey horsewhisperer,
Vick was a terrible quarterback when he was in the league. Incredible cannon, no accuracy. Not taking away from the fact that he was a gifted gimmick halfback. But the list of cons outweighs the pros by a ton. How’s my grammar?
Do you have an editor Florio? I don’t know how you manage to be wrong so frequently and still get the headline story spot!!!!!
Napoleon Florio: track these 18 teams into the season – bet you they won’t be so independent 6 weeks into the season.
How many teams don’t want Favre? 31?
As a Broncos Fan, things can’t get any worse, doesn’t hurt to try him in a wildcat.
Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels said “we’re not bringing him in right now,” but acknowledged the team is always weighing its options. The Broncos have uncertainty at quarterback after trading the disgruntled Jay Cutler(notes). Kyle Orton(notes) is penciled in as the starter.
“We’re always going to try to do what’s best for the organization – that could mean it’s a player or a situation that we’re going to evaluate,” McDaniels said. “We’re always going to try to make sure that we leave no stone unturned. If it means adding a player, we have looked at every player that we feel out there could help us at this time.”

racist, your all racist!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what if he took hundreds of dogs and forced them to live a vicious life in cages, starved and picked on, poked and prodded, given teaser dogs to do training kills, fought mercilessly in the pit until they were bloody and battered and useless to his cause?
Don’t worry people, he gave them a dignified humane death by electrocuting them by their testicles, stabbing them, hanging them , or choking them with his bare hands while looking them in the eye. Then gave them a proper burial in a mass grave under a dirt mound in the back yard.
WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR PEOPLE’S PROBLEM?!?!?
What an awkward way to wrap up the story. Not only awkward, but misleading. To say he has gone from 1 in 32 to 1 in 14 is saying his odds are improving, which obviously they aren’t. It is more simply that the number of opportunities is decreasing.
I think it is sad that humans can’t elevate forgiveness in one’s downfall. When people fall it is up to the rest of us forgive and move pass the faults of man. It’s ok for us to cheer and applaud their brutality on the feild for our entertainment and throw them away when they down something we don’t agree with. Micheal Vick has paid his debt to society and now he has himself and the Lord to deal with. Please continue to degrade and belittle Mr. Vick, because what you sow you will also reap, when you are in a situation and need forgiveness remember that none of you gave any to Mr Vick. PETA is a good organization that does alot of good for animals I would like to see them exsteem human life higher than animal exsistance.
With the united non interest in a Quarter Back of Vicks talent. As much as I would like not to believe in collusion or Black Ball concerning Vick. Their is an odor of racism fuming in the air. Question: Why is it possible for Michael Phelps picture smoking an illegal substance plastered nationally and internationally. Yet less than 1 year he is advertising for Subway. Please Explain?
