Boldin shows up late to camp, barely

Anquan Boldin showing up late to training camp would normally be headline news.

But it didn’t have quite the same sizzle Wednesday because he was barely late after helping teammates whose car broke down.

Early Doucet and Ali Highsmith were on the way to camp when Highsmith’s ride stopped moving.

Boldin declined to speak with reporters upon arrival, but he was apparently “in good spirits.”

His teammate Darnell Dockett also showed up to camp on time, as expected.

Dockett was upset with his contract earlier in the offseason, but has vowed to put the issue behind him for now.

It was a busy day for Dockett, who almost pulled an Ochocinco in the afternoon when he tried to start his own UStream show.

Alas, his computer didn’t allow it.

It’s too bad; it would have been fun to see if Dockett and the proprietor of this site would have their own 10-round Twitter sparring match after the show, ala Ochocinco-Florio I.

Ali Highsmith needs to renew his AAA membership, or he could sign up for their great services and benefits today!

If I am boldin,I ll not go to the middle to catch any ball until,I get payed.I will run on the sideline, like larry fitzgerald, cuz, boldin got his draw dislocated, yet fitzgerald is getting payed and he’s not. lets see how arizona offense fair without boldin going to the middle and taking all those hits.if anybody on that team deserve 10 million its boldin and not fitzgerald

“lets see how arizona offense fair without boldin going to the middle and taking all those hits.”
They went through most of the Falcons playoff game without him, put up 30 points. They went through the entire Carolina game without him, put up 30 points in the cold weather and rain. They didn’t have him in the Bills game, put up 41 points. They didn’t have him in the Cowboys game, put up 30 points. They didn’t have him in the Seahawks game. Put up 34 points.

Yeah that’s a great idea for a guy that wants a new contract from either the Cardinals or another team no to try is hardest. You should be an agent! Also draw and jaw really arent close in spelling. As far as the Cardinals not being good without Boldin going over the middle well sir they were 5-1 without Boldin last year including the road playoff killing of the Panthers. Why dont you look facts up before you come on here and run your mouth about a team and player you obvioulsy know nothing about except what ESPN tells you.

Hey mob, I could’nt agree more with your position that the wrong guy is making the top dollar. If you notice, there was no response to your pointing out Fitzgerald favorite routes are the 8/9 route, which are deep routes . I think Fitz wouldn’t like it one bit if the offensive system was flip and he was asked to run those inside slants, crossing and dig routes.
The pounding you take running those routes from linebackers and safeties is tremendous. It takes a special breed to take those hits. Does Fitz have it? We know Boldin has it. It cannot be question. Minus Boldin for a SEASON Fitz would have to run those inside route (if asked) during games and the outcome he would not like.
Watching game film and coaches tape I have seen Fitz take a dive when linebackers and safeties are coming up for the kill. The eye in the sky does’nt lie. I’m not suggesting Fitz is not a great player, becuase he is. However, he is not as a complete WR as some would have you think or the best in the game. That distinction belongs to Andre Johnson of the Houston Texans. Watch the film.
Boldin needs to get paid or moved. He is a top five WR and deserves to be paid as such.
