After signing the first draft pick on Tuesday, the Colts have come to terms with another.
Seventh-round pick punter Pat McAfee has agreed to terms with the team, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Unlike most seventh-round picks, McAfee is expected to start. He should replace longtime Colt Hunter Smith, who became an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.
The Colts still have six more rookies to sign before camp starts Sunday.
“Unlike most seventh-round picks, McGee is expected to start.”
WTF????
How many teams keep a second-string punter??
Ummm, hey Rosenthal, its MCAFEE, not Mcgee. Pat Mcafee.
Skinsfaninnebraska-Mcafee will be the starter because the previous starter, Hunter “The Punter” Smith signed with YOUR Redskins. The Colts actually drafted Mcafee and signed an UDFA Tim Masthay.
Yawwwwn!!!!! No Farve posts in the hour?? WTF PTF?
was Mike Dragosavich that bad?
i thought the reason they didnt resign hunter smith was b/c they were in love with Dragosavich? then they cut Dragosavich in late May
the skins signed smith to a veteran minimum deal, how come the colts didnt resign him.
seems like the colts screwed this one up, they shoulda resigned smith. good luck with a 7th rounder
