UUUmmm, Rossy, the Cardinals won the NFC championship last year, and while I agree that the organization in Cincinnati is run poorly (nepotism is rampant, scouting is not etc…), you do not have to feel sorry for Rey, we have a good DC and good personnel on D as well, so, no, you don’t have to continue, because your comment was weak.

He’s definitely a beast,… on first and second downs. With he and Roy Williams on your D, the passing teams will murder the Bengals. The Bengals got a great player in Rey M, and I hope he pans out to be an explosive difference-maker, but I just don’t see him and Roy Williams helping the team win right away. I like both guys, but neither is much to watch in the passing game, however Rey’s move to the outside in the 4-3 will better fit his skill set IMO.

Getting 2.84 million guaranteed is not a paycut and when the Bengals are kickin everyone’s A– in 09 we will see if you think its a paycut by the end of the season…..HATERs…..LOL

This guy is going to be a freak. In time, he will become one of the best Linebackers in the AFC North. The Bengals already have Keith Rivers and he’s a VERY solid player as well–pairing him with Maualuga will create a force. I was privileged to get to watch Rey weekly as I live in SoCal–the knocks on him going into the draft were NOT warranted at all, the dude can play. I was absolutely ecstatic that the Bengals got him in the second round, he was a freaking steal to get him at that spot.
