Perhaps challenged by Plaxico Burress’ 150-minute performance in front of a New York City grand jury Wednesday, Antonio Pierce testified on Thursday.
And he’s just getting started.
Pierce will return to the courtroom to finish his testimony on Friday. He was in the court for nearly four hours Thursday, although it’s unclear if he was testifying the whole time.
Interestingly, NFL’s vice president of security Milt Ahlerich was also in the court, according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger.
Pierce’s lawyer Michael Bachner spoke briefly after his client was done for the day. He was asked what Pierce was hoping to accomplish.
“Mr. Pierce was here voluntarily today to explain his side of the story
so the grand jury understands what occurred on that day,” Bachner said. “We’re hopeful
to finish that statement tomorrow and then we’ll have further comment
at that point.”
So there you go. A case that many thought was closed for Pierce months ago will drag on for at least one more day.
And from the sound of it, Pierce’s problems may not end anytime soon after Friday.
They’ll be nicknamed the crisco kids once they hit the slam.

This is a public lynching on Pierce….SMUCK the NYPD and I aint a Giant or Jet fan…..just dont like how the city is trying to make a case fro Pierce??? I understand Plax but Pierce is a lynching to me…
