Cleveland Browns second-round wide receiver Brian Robiskie’s four-year contract includes a $2.125 million signing bonus, according to a league source.
Per the source, Robiskie’s deal includes an $800,750 one-time playing-time qualifier.
Triggering that one-timer would boost the former Ohio State standout’s average annual pay to $1.23 million.
The maximum total value of Robiskie’s deal is $4.908 million.
Wow…did robiskie at least get a reach around when he was bent over
Interesting to see how Robiskie performs. People have been raving about him as a big sleeper this year. Given Mangini’s awful record (besides Mangold) with OSU players maybe he will change Mangini’s luck. Hmm if that works maybe he can teach Mangini how to coach. Now that would be a long shot.
zinn – you’re a genius! the only two people that mangini has ever drafted from ohio state are vernon gholston and nick mangold. does drafting one bad player constitute a terrible record? do you even watch football or just regurgitate what the media tells you. truth is, mangini had 2 winning seasons in three years with the jets. and if it weren’t for favre’s complete meltdown last year, mangini would probably still be in new york. do a little research next time – you sound like a idiot…
Zinn:
Lets not knock Mangini for the V. Gholston pick last year, there was also a GM involved with that pick. Not to mention Gholston was on every teams radar and who knew it would have turned out the way it did. Do not see how that is Manginis fault. Gholston was a beast in college and if the Jets did not take him the next team on the clock would have.
I will agree Mangini has some learning to do when it comes to coaching but after watching the clueless Crennel pace the sidelines in a utter stuper for the past 4 yrs this is a major upgrade, trust me!
i apologize, zinn, i forgot he drafted schlegel in 2006 – he was a bust as well – 1 pro bowler, 1 underachiever and 1 bust.
Robiskie got a horrible, horrible deal. Needs to fire his agent, and quick.
