Carson Palmer bitten by flu bug

Carson Palmer is reportedly under the weather out in ol’ Kentucky.

The Cincinnati Bengals’ franchise quarterback hasn’t practiced in two days due to “flu-like symptoms,” according to James Walker of ESPN.com.

Per the report, Palmer got sick Saturday and has been sidelined ever since.

So, J.T. O’Sullivan of imaginary casual dining restaurant chain fame and Palmer’s younger brother, Jordan, are running the show.

It doesn’t sound like Palmer’s illness is serious; he’s expected to return in the next few days.

I’d feel a bit sick if I had to play for the Bengals too.

Apparently practice still ran smooth with the two back-ups running the show. Jerome Simpson caught everything throw his way today… for once.
