Early injuries in Spartanburg

The Carolina Panthers launched training camp on Monday in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

And, already, two members of the defense have been injured.

According to Steve Reed of CarolinaGrowl.com, linebacker Jon Beason and defensive tackle Ma’ake Kemoeatu left practice during the first practice session.

Beason left with a hamstring injury, and Kemoeatu was carted off with an unspecific lower leg injury.

So hold your breath, Panthers fans. Defensive tackle is one of the thinnest positions for the Panthers, and Kemoeatu would be a huge loss.
