First-round pick Darrius Heyward-Bey dropped four passes at Raiders camp Monday. (UPDATE: DHB dropped three more in 1-on-1 drills Tuesday morning.)
Oakland tailbacks Justin Fargas, Darren McFadden, and Michael Bush look to be sharing practice reps evenly so far.
New Raiders starting left tackle Mario Henderson says he has JaMarcus Russell’s back.
Linebacker D.J. Williams, who’s at Patrick Willis’ “Jack” position in coordinator Mike Nolan’s scheme, is slated to be the face of Denver’s defense.
With rookie RB Knowshon Moreno still holding out, Broncos fullback Peyton Hillis is the “early star” of training camp.
Speaking of Moreno, he’s the Broncos’ longest holdout since 1997.
Second-year receiver Eddie Royal dominated in an 11-on-11 drill at Monday’s practice.
Chargers rookie Gartrell Johnson ran as the third-team tailback Monday, indicating he may have already passed Michael Bennett.

Troy Williamson 2.0 and people wonder why I call Raiders fans delusional.
UPDATE: DHB catching more passes than he drops. You wouldn’t know unless you read the entire article. Maybe you should try that Evan Silva.
Mullester, it’s only August in his first NFL training camp but keep making the comparisons, I am sure you know your football. Go get back in you van with no windows and follow your team.
Silva, you’re a hack.
1. DHB has caught more than he’s dropped – and the DHB “drop talley” is getting old. The hysteria over this kid’s hands is overdone. I know you probably were offended by the pick of DHB at #7, but really, you need to go on with your life. We’ll see if he pans out as an NFL receiver or not, but in the meantime you’re just piling on and it’s unprofessional and sophomoric… heavy on the “moric”.
2. Mario Henderson was the starting LT at the end of last season, so he’s not the “new” starting LT for the Raiders.
Of course PFT displays the negative news of DHB’s drops but they don’t post anything about his positives, like how he’s caught every ball at the late practice including a one hander falling out of bounds.
From Jerry McDonald’s twitter page:
“All aboard the bandwagon. DHB catches 11 straight passes, and No. 9 was a one-handed grab near the sideline”
Who knows what tomorrow holds – but just as this strong practice means squat in the big picture, so do the ones he dropped mean squat in the big picture.
Fine! So as of yet DHB isn’t Larry Fitzgerald.. Big deal! How many games has he played yet in the N.F.L? Oh that’s right… None. So he has a case of the drops in practice. From what I understand he did well in his late practice. You see the bad thing about being with the Raiders is your under constant scrutiny from media, and other no- it- all’s. People want to talk about Mr. Davis, and how they feel the game has passed him by. They talk about J Russell’s weight,or simply they blog about the Raiders suck. Well good for them. Who are they? Chiefs fan’s? (snicker) Bronco’s fan’s? (imploded)…Chargers ..eh..well you may have reason to brag..a little.. point is you talk all the trash you want about the Raiders. Last time I checked the Raiders had more Super Bowl wins then the rest of their division combined. Oh ,and one more thing. Perhaps you should show Mr. Davis a little bit of respect. If it weren’t for the likes of him there wouldn’t be an AFC division much less the format that is the N.F.L
why dont you post that DHB caught 14 of 16 in practice yesterday
