Falcons bring in Marty Booker

On the same day that the Falcons signed veteran wideout Robert Ferguson, who caught three passes in 2008, they added a guy who caught a few more passes last season.

Um, eleven more.

Marty Booker appeared in 13 games for the Bears, catching 14 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns.

And he’s now a Falcon.

Roddy White likely is unfazed.

The team also placed receiver Harry Douglas on injured reserve.  The Falcons also cut waived rookie Brandon Godfrey.

Roddy White likely is unfazed? Of course he is, thats like bringing in Marty Mcfly!

  2. Marty Booker couldnt do jack with Rexy maybe the golden boy Matty Ice will turn him into a probowler

  3. Marty Booker has shown signs of brilliance throughout his career but like “☻☼CBS, FOX, ESPN, NFLN nbc” said, now he has a QB that can make throws! I have seen Booker make some outstanding acrobatic catches-now he won’t have to……SCREW RODDY!!! um, unless he comes back…GO FALCONS!

  4. If White isn’t concerned having Gonzalas on the roster, he’s not going to lose sleep over any of the jobless receivers Atlanta brings to camp. He’s probably sitting home, naming his turds Marty and Bob before he hits the handle.

  5. Marty Booker? Robert Ferguson? I guess that the Falcons are digging in. I do not expect to see Roddy White this year. And the Falcons are just going to take their lumps.
This Roddy White situation should have been taken care of earlier.

  6. I can’t believe Roddy is asking for Larry Fitz $$$. You can’t have one good year and expect $10 mill a year for 4-5 years. He MAYBE deserves half that.
