Titans receiver Kenny Britt, the 30th overall pick in the 2009 draft, will finally make an appearance as an official member of the team.
Britt has been on the Physically Unable to Perform list since signing a contract last week. Coach Jeff Fisher said Thursday that Britt will be moved to the active roster on Friday, per Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.
The former Rutgers wideout has been bothered by a hamstring injury.
Though he’ll be ready to start practicing on Friday, he won’t be playing in Sunday night’s preseason opener at Canton.
“I am really anxious to be out here with the team, to get the feel of
it,” Britt said. “It’s a little disappointing [I can't play Sunday]
because it’s the first preseason game and my first NFL team and I’d like to be out there with my teammates. But right now I just need to get in the playbook and learn the plays.”
“My first NFL team?” Spoken like a true wide receiver.

That’s a pretty weak play on words there, Florio.
Anyone who knows anything about Rutgers football from 2005-2008 will tell you that you’d be hard pressed to find a guy as classy as Kenny Britt.
A T.O. or Ocho-Cinco he is not.
First time agreeing with a stooler fan, kenny britt is a classy guy with a bright career ahead of him. Hopefully b-more continues the trend of taking the titans leftovers, cause I would love to see this kid in purple and black.
Sounds like he’ll play for 4 or 5 seasons and call it a career. Sounds about 500 catches maybe 20 30 TD’s Maybe. Hope he spends is money wise and makes it last.
