With the third overall pick in the draft now reportedly agreeing to terms, another first-round holdout is about to end.
Adam Schefter of ESPN Future reports via Twitter that a deal between the Broncos and running back Knowshon Moreno is expected to be reached this evening.
We’ve confirmed, per a league source, that things are “getting really close,” and that the deal “should be done tonight.”
Once it happens, there will be only seven unsigned first-round draft picks.

The Broncos are gonna love this kid. He plays football the right way and he genuinely have fun while playing the game. I’ve seen him do things on the football field that I’ve never before.
He’s going to be a lot of fun.
This was the big disappointment of the draft for me – I was really hoping Knowshon would drop low enough that the Eagles could move up to get him. Even with Maclin and McCoy looking like players, I still think we’d be way ahead with Moreno – he’ll be rookie of the year.
