Cleveland Browns wide receiver Syndric Steptoe is out for the season due to a shoulder injury, a league source told Mike Florio.
Steptoe was carted off the field at practice earlier today.
Drafted in the seventh round in 2007, Steptoe caught 19 passes for 182 yards last season in five starts.
He also doubled as an occasion kickoff and punt returner.
Now, Steptoe’s season is over before it ever really began.
Under new coach Eric Mangini, the Browns are following a strict policy of not commenting on injuries or their severity during training camp.
