After little more than one full week of most training camps, the simmering wide receiver issues around the league have calmed down.
Braylon Edwards is practicing and chatty with Browns coach Eric Mangini. Roddy White got paid by the Falcons, and Anquan Boldin is saying all the right things in Arizona.
Against the backdrop of all this happiness, Brandon Marshall’s continued issues in Denver stick out.
Marshall appeared rather unhappy when he arrived in Denver, and has now missed a full week of practice after re-injuring his hip. He’s only been seen going to the weight room.
And according to the Denver Post, those around the Broncos “certainly” don’t expect to see him practice this week either.
Marshall’s two practices in camp represent his entire body of work on the practice field this offseason since undergoing hip surgery in March.
It’s unclear how serious his new injury is or if there are other factors at play.
Marshall has a history of missing offseason work, only to play outstanding when the games count. Pulling that off again in a new offense for a new coach with a new quarterback will test all of his impressive abilities.
It’s unclear how serious his new injury is or if there are other factors at play.
Read between the lines: The guy does NOT want to be on that sorry ass team and play for Coach McDork.
Denver we have a problem…
McTurd comes into Denver with a top offense and an awful defense and the first thing he does is try and make the offense just as bad?
I guess he prefers things uniform.
Glad I am not a Bronco fan you got a 5 year plan going….YUCK
It’s not hard to figure. Most people that have that type of injury are out much longer. He probably shouldn’t have practiced at all. But with all the trust issues in denver(doctors, coaches, forgetful owners) and the chance of losing money he came to camp. Maybe a real agent would help with proper talks with management. Not B.Cook though.
Brandon Marshall has stated that he does not trust the Broncos medical staff, so who is attending to his ‘hip’ or ‘hamstring’ injury?
It seems that if Brandon is only seen going to the weight room, he could be holding out of camp.
We will see Friday night when the lights come on at SF.
He has a severe yeast infection..
Sez here he is not fully recovered from the hip surgery and his conditioning doesnt match the rest of the team’s.
Look forward to mid-season and see what he is doing after the Broncos have traded to the Bears for a journeyman D-lineman to replace Parker or a slow-footed-cant-tackle safety to replace Dawkins after he goes on IR.
Jeez dont wanna lose the only other star on offense…
After a couple of games, Dr. Royal’s play will heal that hip up real quick. If the yeast infection proves to be kind of a nagger, they should trade him to the Vikings.
