Raji leaves Green Bay

Defensive lineman B.J Raji, the ninth overall pick in the 2009 draft, has been hanging out in Green Bay pending the successful negotiation of a rookie contract.

He’s not there anymore.

Per Greg Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Raji has left Green Bay.

Raji previously said he didn’t plan to hold out. Wednesday will be day twelve of his absence from camp.

Some league insiders believe that having the player in town gives a little extra leverage to the team.

If so, that leverage is now gone.

A total of five first-round picks -- all taken in the first eleven selections -- have not yet signed.
