Why are you dragging Eli or any other QB into the quagmire now developing in Philly? You are using him to assuage the sense of failure your team has given you time after time.
McNabb and Vick may be better athletes than Eli. They may even be better QB’s-though it is clearly evident Vick is a far worse QB. When you fail as a team, suddenly, individual stats become the most important thing to boast.
Eli has brought the Giants to the playoffs consistently. He won a Super Bowl and was voted the MVP. He knows how to lead a team and does not worry about personal Statistics.
Please, enjoy your individual records as that is all you have to really have in which to cling. I’ll take what Eli brings year after year. Sounds like a win-win deal.

Why does Vick take so much flack for this statistic while Eli Manning has parlayed a career 55.9% completion percentage into a monstrous contract?
As a QB, if you can win games, nobody cares about how horrible you might be (Trent Dilfer being the lone exception). If you win, people will love you.
And as Eli has shown us: you don’t need to be an adept passer to win games – you just need to play for a good team Michael Vick now meets that criteria.
