So, for the sake of the arguement My take on the Dog murderer is this.
He did his time yes, he deserves a second chance yes, he should do what he is good at yes, he should have a chance to redeem himself in the community yes….
However, the dog killer should not be finacially rewarded for doing his time..
I think he should be reinstated, however he should be forced to play for free for a minimum 1 year. There is no way if anyone else that was convicted of the same crime would be able to just continue work and make over 1 million dollars within months after being let out of jail!!
The ass bag should have to play for free, and be placed in a room with a steak around his neck so a pack of Pits, and American Bulldogs, and Rotties can have at him.
And all of you people that think his crime is less important because he didnt harm humans are retarded……
Have of the humans murdered are criminals anyway, and suck at life…….EVERY DOG is completely innocent, and half of them are smarter than alot of humans….so your argument sucks..the majority of people that get murdered on the streets of Baltimore could never be as effective as a dog…..at least a dog can find a home

Have you SEEN Jerramy Stevens’ rap sheet? It’s 3 freakin pages long and includes 2nd and 4th degree assault(pleaded out to misdemeanor assault), reckless driving, marijuana, sexual assault(which resulted in a civil settlement), DUI, DWI, and Hit and Run. The guy is, IMO, a MUCH SCUZZIER human being than Vick because his crimes were against humans, not dogs.
Don’t get me wrong, I think what Vick did was horrifying but, lets keep some perspective. If Jerramy Stevens deserves continued second chances than Mike Vick deserves at least one.

Hey man dont sweat em. Your the only one on this board that makes sense. Its not that the others are bad people, if they really thought about it they would realize that hitting women or (of course) rapeing someone is worse than killing dogs. They are just sheep, following whatever the popular sentiment is. Fact is, in this society, dogs are more respected than women. Sad but seemingly true. You cant count how many women beaters are in the NFL. There is more outrage about DUI’s than hitting women. I’m just gonna keep lovin’ and respectin’ women, while i swim in booty, while these losers sit home with their dogs.

If you think you’re on moral high ground because you’re walking away because Mike Vick is playing football, you’re delusional. The fact is that a rapist, Jerramy Stevens, is still in the league, but it takes a dog killer for you to walk away says a lot about you. You’re telling me that someone who killed dogs is worse than someone who raped women? Are you serious. Please don’t hit anyone with that highfalutin nonsense about an organization having no moral fibre when Jerramy Stevens is in the league and you were still fans while he played. Good riddens. So we know Ozzie wanted him. If “they couldn’t get on the same page”, I assume that means either Harbaugh or Bisciotti (or both of them) didn’t want him. It would be nice to know where each of them stood. Given Ozzie’s track record, I’d assume his opinion has a good deal of weight.

Wow the Ravens huh? That would have sucked for Troy Smith. I always thought that the Ravens wouldnt be interested because they have someone like Smith and although granted he isnt as explosive as Vick, he could have done enough to get something like the WildCat going.
