Darren Rovell of CNBC, who first reported the disappearance of the corporate sponsors from the Eagles’ official web site, advises that the list of logos and names has suddenly reappeared, Doug Henning style, on the page devoted to the team’s corporate partners.
Also, we’ve noticed that the “corporate partners” link has been restored to the list appearing beneath the “Team” tab on the Eagles’ site.
So either the Eagles tried to subtly protect their sponsors and realized that the cover up was only drawing unwanted attention to the issue, or someone responsible for the content on the web site thought he/she was doing the franchise a favor and acted on his/her own.
Or maybe it was all a coincidence.
