AFC East training camp one-liners

TE Shawn Nelson and WR Roscoe Parrish left Bills practice early because they weren’t feeling well, and coach Dick Jauron fears an illness may be spreading through the team.

Bills CB Drayton Florence will be out 2-5 weeks with a sprained knee.

DE Aaron Maybin’s absence from Bills camp has provided DE Chris Ellis with increased opportunities to impress the staff.

Bills CB Terrence McGee is battling blisters on his feet and was forced to cut short his morning practice.

Sean Smith took a big step toward a starting cornerback job with a strong game in the Dolphins’ preseason opener on Monday night.

One of his competitors, Dolphins CB Vontae Davis, helped out by getting beaten several times for big plays.

The Dolphins starting offensive line wasn’t happy with their work in the running game.

Dolphins WR Ted Ginn Jr. had two catches, drew a pass interference penalty and had a 14-yard run on a reverse in a productive game against the Jaguars.

The Patriots are paying special attention to heat after offensive linemen Logan Mankins and Rich Ohrnberger were carted off the practice field on Sunday.

Several members of the large crop of Patriots rookies have made strong impressions during training camp.

The Patriots signed RB Chris Taylor and placed WR Shun White, a Navy man, on the reserve/military list.

After a mediocre performance in the preseason opener, Patriots WR Joey Galloway has been participating in both daily practices instead of taking one off.

Jets C Nick Mangold is back in uniform and on the practice field on Tuesday morning.

Jets coach Rex Ryan offered no clues about who would replace the suspended DE Shaun Ellis in the starting lineup for the season opener.

The Jets waived undrafted rookie S Keith Fitzhugh.

Instead of evening meetings, Jets players were treated to a night out at the movies on Monday.

No problems for the Jets without Ellis or Pace in the opener – they still have Ghoulston, an unstoppable college sack machine! They do open against a college team, right?

No one-liner about Pat Whites bad play. Come on Josh, Florio got you by the balls?

Pat White last night vs. the Jaguars:
    Passing: 2/7 for 14 yards, 1 INT
Rushing: 6 carries for 20 yards including a 10 yard run
Yet NFL.com said this about him:
QB Pat White has an arm: Everybody thought about the “Wildcat” when the Dolphins took White in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. But White showed that he could throw the ball, too. White displayed great decision making, in not taking any unnecessary chances. And his one interception was on a deflection.
    Mike Florio-like spin doctoring!

Except the fact that the Patriots* are proven cheaters who use the guise of class to hide the fact that they (and their fans, no doubt) think that they are above everything the NFL stands for.
And the fact that nearly every Patriot* fan is a bandwagoner that jumped on during the last decade after the decades of total futility.
And the fact that Bill Bellacheat’s* a douche.
And the fact that Rodney “Dirtiest Player in NFL History” Harrison* was/is a ‘roid junkie.
And the fact that the Patriots* are just an overall hate-worthy team.

God I love being a Pats fan.
(and I have been since I was born in 1972. Helps being born in Boston to a father that had season tickets starting in 1960).
