NFC East training camp one-liners

Cowboys K David Buehler beat CB DeAngelo Smith in a 50-yard dash following practice.

LB Bradie James said that the Cowboys had the toughest training camp that he’s ever been through.

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said that trying to choose a starter between cornerbacks Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick is a “good problem to have.”

RB Keon Lattimore has played well during camp but knows that his future likely lies with a team other than the Cowboys.

Ahmad Bradshaw had a successful debut as the Giants’ No. 2 running back.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin praised the performance of LB Clint Sintim in Monday’s game with the Panthers.

The Giants are happy with WR Mario Manningham’s penchant for big plays, but he needs to cut down on mental errors.

Cornerbacks Aaron Ross and Corey Webster, as well as WR Steve Smith, are expected back at Giants practice on Wednesday.

The Eagles will leave 12 players at home for Thursday night’s game with the Colts.

One of those 12 players is LT Jason Peters, which means T King Dunlap will be charged with slowing Colts DE Dwight Freeney.

The Eagles released S Rashard Baker, whose Week 17 interception for the Raiders against the Buccaneers helped them make the playoffs last year, and signed S Brandon Harrison.

RB Brian Westbrook’s only goal as he rehabs his ankle is the Eagles’ regular season opener.

The defensive line is one area that isn’t worrying the Redskins at all.

Redskins T Mike Williams weighed in at 339 pounds on Tuesday, which means he’s dropped 111 pounds in six months.

Redskins OL Jeremy Bridges vows that his troubled days, which included pointing a gun at a stripper, are behind him.

He got the starting job he wanted, now Redskins CB Carlos Rogers has to make enough plays to justify it.

Vox: Tell me your back up kicker didn’t out run any of your “skill” players?!? Maybe the victim won’t make the team, but seriously?
Was the kicker running downhill? Was the cornerback wearing a weighted vest? Was Flozell blocking for the kicker? What gives?!?
Who’s next to get the kicker beat down? R. Williams?!? Maybe Romo should race him?!?

When you consider that the ultimate cream puff, Wade Phillips, is the coach, that doesnt really say much……. Did they actually wear pads to one of the practices instead of walk throughs all camp long…..?

Opie…. Buehler runs a 4.5 40 and out-lifted a lot of the linebackers in bench press at the combine. It’s not a shock that he beat a safety in a 50 yard dash. Since you probably don’t follow the Cowboys though, you don’t know that.
Big ben Rapistburger….Say what you want about Wade Phillips training camps, but the reason what Bradie James said holds merit is cause he spent his first four years in Bill Parcells training camp.
    Both of you owned.

Not a real good sign for a team that had a horrible defense (and offense for that matter) at the end of last year.

    Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?
Um, he’s sick. My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at Valley Ranch last night. I guess it’s pretty serious.

…Oh, God. Can McNabb have one handoff to McCoy, then leave the game?

That kicker could outrun a lot of guys, opie. He’s a freak (as kickers go). The only QB he didn’t outrun at the combines in the 40 was Pat White, who beat him by 0.07 seconds.
jjared makes sense with the Parcells thing.

Speaking of LeSean McCoy, Buehler outlifted him at the combines 25 reps to 22 reps. He also outlifted LB Moise Fokou (12), TE Cornelius Ingram (21), and OL Fenuki Tupou (24).

Clint Sintim is gonna be a pass rusher too? Him, Osi, Tuck, Kiwi, Canty, and Robbins. Wow…
