We’ve resurrected the PFT Book Club for 2010, which gives us some free content in exchange for the gratuitous pimping of a new book from someone we know in the business.
Recently, we posted a guest column from Adam Schefter of ESPN Present (and, Presumably, Future), whose new book The Class Of Football is currently available.
Today, we’ve got a guest column from Michael Tunison, a/k/a Xmas Ape of Kissing Suzy Kolber.
Tunison is a former member of the PFT writing stable. Often I’d ask him if he had time to post a blurb, and he’d respond by saying he’s “working on his book.” I assumed it was simply the latest euphemism.
As it turns out, he was actually working on a book. It’s The Football Fan’s Manifesto, it came out yesterday, and you can get it right here.
So when you’re ready to take a break from working on your own book, check out the PFT Book Club’s first two submissions for 2009.
Has the “Manifesto” outsold QBF yet?
I’d rather keep refreshing PFT 300 times a day than “read a book”.
What? No “The Rookie” by NYT Bestselling author Scott Sigler. (It’s “Any Given Sunday” in space)
The Rookie should definitely be on your list and while I’m at it I’ll cast a self-serving vote to include my recent short story “Judgement Day for Michael Vick”

You guys need to make it so links open in another window or tab. And when are comment ratings coming back?
Rex- I guess that includes a playbook as well, huh?
Xmas Ape? More like Dickbag. His website blows. The “satire” that is contained therein is not funny, and no group of men should refer to themselves as “the gay mafia.” Unless they, you know, actually are gay.
