After a largely quiet summer, there have been two player arrests in only two days.
Titans receiver Chris Davis has been arrested for DUI, according WTVF, via the Nashville City Paper.
The arrest occurred at 4:00 a.m. local time, after 25 was stopped for speeding. His blood-alcohol concentration reportedly was measured at 0.11 percent.
Davis suffered a hamstring injury during the Hall of Fame game, and he did not travel with the team to Dallas for Friday night’s preseason game.
Davis, a fourth-round pick in 2007, is competing for a roster spot as a punt returner and backup wide. He appeared in 12 games as a rookie, and five in 2008. He has seven career catches for 69 yards.
We’ve got a feeling he won’t be getting his eighth career catch in Tennessee.
Meanwhile, maybe Titans coach Jeff Fisher will be calling Marvin Harrison, after all.
It looks like the ‘end of training camp’ is another danger point for players and the ‘days without arrest meter’
What is it with WRs?
let me guess, its the same cop that pulled mcnair…
That’s unfortunate. He was looking pretty decent in the HoF game.
ah man…I wish they would drop the “V” in WTVF…that would be hilarious!
and he needs to stop playing now so that his career yards will be the awesome number of 69.
WTF!
KARMA……bwhahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
Hey Bill, Bill…Hi Bill. How are you man?
I don’t understand how these goofs can even be awake at 4am, let alone just finishing up a drunken party. Maybe I’m just getting old but I appreciate sleep more than a good beer, and I like a good beer.
Doesn’t matter, he wasn’t going to make the team anyways
Can you say bye bye
4 am after training all day wtf
and another one bights the dust
Well at least our WR was smart enough to take a cab home…even if he decided to punch the driver.
The Titans have a wideout?!?!?
he should have just punched a cab driver instead.
If you look at NFLCRIMES.COM you will see that while this summer has been quieter than last, there has still been quite a few arrests.
