I totally agree Thomas Jones isnt good anymore and hes old. With Edge he is one of the all time best RB’s and has great experience

Heck, give them Deion Branch and J. Jones and a later round pick.

dude you are a tard… you can’t just throw whatever you want at a team. why would the Jets have any interest in J. Jones? they have Washington and Shonn Greene. Also no team is going to want Deion Branch in a trade. The Jets have Cotchery and Stuckey plus some other young unproven recievers.
This is real life bro… Trading in the NFL isn’t like it is in Madden. Thomas Jones, yeah he had a good year last year but that’ll be his last. Why do you think that the Jets won’t redo his contract? Why do you think the Jets used a 3rd round pick on Shonn Greene? Why do you think Thomas Jones didn’t get traded? (Because all the teams know he isn’t worth more than a 6th round pick… Last year isn’t fooling anyone. Good O-Line equals production at RB)

I am stoked to have James come to my team. I have never liked Jones who is no better than many 2nd strings backs. Seattle needed some changes and Housh/James/Curry/Butler are all things Seattle fans should be excited about. I believe he is gonna be a great addition to the offense our running backs are sorry in comparison to the rest of the NFL.

well he wont be happy with sharing touches…
i dont think he will help that much against st. loo or frisco…
but with his desire for revenge, and the fact that a plodder can keep the law firm of fitzgerald, boldin and warner sidelined…
he should help seattle out against the cards.

Edgerrin James lands in Seattle? WTF??
Nothing against Edge, but Seattle SHOULD have made a SERIOUS play for Thomas Jones!
Jones seems like the odd man out because he can’t stay healthy.
Seattle really needs to find a YOUNG shifty fast running back that they can count on.

Duckett has got to be the odd man out. If theres anything Duckett is decent at, it’s short yardage situations and blocking. Well your not paying 3 RB’s 2 million each, and Jones was more productive and doesn’t have the similarities that Duckett and James do. I am sure they told James he would start, so it would make more sense to have Jones and James be your 2 active RB’s and let Duckett go.

i feel bad for the guy. he got a bad rep just for being old. dont forget people, this guy is in the top 10 of all time rushing. and he was in the superbowl last year. and seattle has learned to not expect much from their running game.
