Four years, four season-ending injuries for Dvoracek

His three prior NFL seasons ended with season-ending injuries.

Bears defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek is now four for four.

According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Sun-Times, Dvoracek tore the ACL in his right knee during Saturday night’s preseason game against the Bears.

Foot surgery wiped out his rookie season.  A torn ACL in his left knee limited Dvoracek to only one game in 2007.  He got through 12 games — all starts — last year before tearing a biceps tendon.

The third-round pick from the 2006 draft undoubtedly will head to injured reserve.  Absent an extenstion to the labor agreement, he’ll be a restricted free agent in March 2010.
