Harrison was 60 for 636 last year. Not far off. Jabar Gaffney caught 55 for 492 in ’05.

Matt Jones had 65 for 761, which averages to 80 for 936, not quite 1000 but once again, close.

I love how you’re referring to Nate Washington in the whole article, but never mention his full name. Some people outside of Pittsburgh and/or Tennessee might not know who “Washington” is.
Isn’t that journalism 101 that you mention the person’s full name, THEN you can refer to them on a last name only basis?

first, character issues aside. jones has a substance control problem. marv is a thug.
marvin is old, slowing down and falls down after catching the ball. not a blocker. wont get any better. likely to give you 60 catches for 550 yards at best.
jones is coming into his own (even tho wideout isnt his natural posn), and can be a beast after catch. small DBs have to be worried about him.
80+ catches for 1000+ yards.
i would get jones on a tightly worded contract.

The entire Redskins team injured their hamstring? Not sure how that relates to the Titans’ cap space, but it is very good to know with Fantasy drafts upcoming.

If Marvin can still run, he would fit in well with the NYG. The Giants have relatively no experience at WR and could use his tutelage.

actually id look for the titans (my team!) to look at possibly bringing in matt jones..they were really high on him coming out of college and they said if he fell to the 2nd theyd draft him but the jags reached for him. not to mention hes coming off his best season and entering his prime (not that his prime is anything special but its better than where marvin is at this moment)..so who seems more logical? a worn down marvin harrison who may get prison time for shooting then possibly arranging someone else to shoot the man again or matt jones a coke head who appears to be in goodells favor since he was caught cutting up coke by the police and only getting a game (maybe it was 2, nonetheless it was too little) whos coming off a 1,000 yd season and entering his prime? seems like a no brainer to me..what do yall think?
