Crabtree CAN be traded before he signs his contract. The Eli Manning trade shows you that you can trade “the rights” to a player or draft pick. It would be unwise to make that trade if I were Dallas because you might have a harder time trying to sign his because the player has leverage because you NEED him.

The Lions got the good side of a trade because the traded player broke his collar bone and will be out 6-8 weeks??
Marvin Harrison is supposedly asking for too much money. In reality, he probably doesn’t want to get into a camp too soon so the team realizes that he sucks and cuts him in the final cutdowns. If he goes to a team once the season is underway, his salary is guaranteed.
