With the hearing in his bankruptcy case concluding earlier than expected, Eagles quarterback Mike Vick was able to hop an earlier flight and return to Philadelphia, according to ESPN.
Vick arrived back in Philly at 2:25 p.m., giving him more than enough time to get to Lincoln Financial Field in advance of tonight’s game against the Jaguars.
Meanwhile, Paolantonio reports that Vick will take the field at some point in the first quarter, both as a traditional quarterback and in some Wildcat formations.
Quarterback Donovan McNabb is expected to line up at receiver for some of the plays.
But there’s a caveat. If coach Andy Reid thinks that Vick is struggling with the pace of the first NFL game in which he will have played since December 2006, Reid will yank Vick from the field.
