Brady, Moss putting on a show

It’s beginning to look a little like 2007.

Though the New England Patriots aren’t yet tattooing the Redskins like the Pats did during a game that resulted in a final score of 52-7, quarterback Tom Brady and receiver Randy Moss are re-establishing a relationship that was interrupted last September by Brady’s busted ACL.

As of this posting, Brady has completed ten of 13 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns at FedEx Field.  Moss has snared six of the receptions for 90 yards and both scores.

The Pats lead, 14-7, early in the second quarter.

You can follow the action right here, while watching Dateline on NBC.

As far as I can tell….looks to me like Randy Moss must not be any good…..I say this because if he was good….I would think the Redskins might at least try to cover him. They do not appear to worried about that BUM Moss at all.

Too bad Favre and the Vikings are already a lock to win the Super Bowl.

Looks like Campbell and Moss are putting on a show to me.

No worries for the Pats offense, Welker and Edelman not even playing tonight, but I don’t have much confidence in the D yet.
Fred Taylor has more burst in his 30′s than Maroney ever will.

Lebowski sounds confused cuz its CUTLER & THE BEARS representing the NFC in the Superbowl in 2010 pal..

The only thing that’s proven capable of limiting Moss’ production is Al Davis’ Raiders organization.
With any luck, Red McCombs will end up in hell along side Hitler…getting a pineapple shoved up his ass on an hourly basis.

pats need to worry about their defense that gave up 213 yds in 2 qts to a team that had trouble putting up 15 points a game last yr….

And now it’s tied. Let’s can the 2007 18-1 talk until the games actually count.

Brady looked good. Moss looked good as well, but as a Skins fan Campbell has shown some life as well. 3rd preseason game is the one that counts, and the Skins appear to be at least able to challenge a good team like the Patriots.
After saying all that, Colt Brennan just threw a pick that was returned 95 yards for a TD. It was nice knowing you Colt, that pick just sealed your fate.

It looked like the exact same type of hit BigBen took against the Texans week 1. The injury lingered all season. Brady’s line isn’t as good as it was in 07. He’s done.

Looks like JC schooled TB tonight…the skins not only held their own, they put a licking on the Pats! Orakpo is a beast, I can’t wait to see this guy go full speed for 4 quarters…A relatively young Brady is looking quite old with these “injuries” springing up…Pats are probably kicking themselves for offing Cassel about now! Brady & Moss did look quite good tonight though in all fairness.
The Skins may not win the Superbowl this season but could break the hearts and backs of teams with high aspirations (i.e. the Giants X2 games)
    GO SKINS!

Did Jessica curse the wrong QB?

Randy Moss is taking this pre-season thing a little too seriously. The last thing we need is an accomplished veteran showing everyone else how it’s done.
Meanwhile, the NE defense apparently didn’t make the trip.

Good to see that Brady seems to have shaken off the rust. Moss makes it look so effortless. He really is a joy to watch. Add to that he really isn’t doing anything that might get him hurt this pre-season, I think Moss is due for another big season, especially if Galloway can ever get on the same page with Brady (man, he is still FAST!).
The only bright spot on the defense looked to be the defensive line. The corners (granted, Springs wasn’t playing) looked horrible and were burned quite a few times. Wilhite looked awful until his pick 6. The Pats really need to work on that pass defense, or they will once again be relying on Brady, Moss, and Welker to win the games for them.
Overall though, the Pats are looking okay, and will be competitive. They should peak mid to late season, which is about where you want it. Lots of new players, and lots of new looks for the Pats, so I will give them a bit of slack.
Those of you talking about Brady being hurt as if it is the end of the season for him, wishful thinking. The trainers didn’t even look at him after that play. So I don’t think it could possibly be anything serious.

I guess he’ll now have to make videos of Tony Romo between shifts at the local Home Depot. I’m not sure that they hire convicted criminals, though.
